Sunny Fox

In this artwork, I explored plasticine modelling using stained glass techniques. The piece is entirely flat, outlined with delicate clay threads and beads. It faithfully adheres to the principles of stained glass by eschewing shadows and embracing segmented artistry, with each distinct boundary contributing to a cohesive whole.

I miss its warm glow on long winter evenings when the sun barely peeks through the grey skies. During these times, in the still of the night, I imagined a cosy little fox curled up like a cinnamon roll, finding comfort in the quiet darkness.

Using stained glass techniques with plasticine, I painstakingly placed each tiny bead and shaped every delicate piece, recreating the tranquillity of a fox at rest. This wasn't just about capturing an image; it was about weaving warmth and light into the darkness of winter.
